On April 2nd, 1979, Ol' Jimmy was born with a powerful set of vocal chords and an unquenchable thirst for musical expression.

His family was from Waterford, Ireland, and he was consequently force-fed Irish music from a young age. Even to this day, he will wake up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night, screaming: "Stop pulling me hair! Give us back our comb, you theiving rat-faced little bastards!!!"

At age 18, because he was bored, he began a relationship with punk and celtic music, a relationship which would provide the impetus for the folk juggernaut that is now Siòbhan.

Ol' Jimmy's adolescence helped him develop an extremely strong right forearm, which has more recently been described as the "fastest strummin' arm in the country". You'll have to see it to believe it, but he sure do go.

When he's not bashing out chords on the guitar, Jimmy's main role is to sing and provide a witty monologue to entertain the audience. His monologues often include such gems as: "Christ on a bike, I'm drunk." and "You ungrateful sons of whores....go $*@# yourselves."

When asked about the course Siòbhan is charting, Ol' Jimmy's sea-blue eyes light up. "Bashically," he slurs, "I think every last person on the earth is a rat bastard, and I hope the entire human race endures a fiery extinction." He smiles, and concludes, "but I like to scream these songs, and I'm-a-gonna keep doin' that until the robots come."

"Bollocks," adds Jimmy. "I've pissed me pants."
